OUR STORY
-Graves Family Orchard Est. July 2021-
Owner Danielle Graves, and husband, Tyler Graves were born and raised in southern Wisconsin. Over the last five years they have been slowly restoring and rejuvenating an apple orchard, in Brownsville.
The farm was started over 90 years ago, with the oldest apple tree on the property estimated to be 60+ years old. They have preserved old varieties of apples not seen in most orchards and have started the long process of converting to organic and self sustained.

ABOUT THE ORCHARD
Graves Family Orchard sits on 23 beautiful acres with over 1,800 apple trees that consist of over 74 varieties, including blackberries, tomatoes, peppers, sun flowers, and plums. The orchard is located in Brownsville, WI.
The orchard was formerly known as Pieper's Fruit Farm, founded over 90 years ago. Our Prime Gold variety is special as it was Gilbert Pieper's early ripening Golden Delicious strain.
There's a gift shop featuring homemade apple sauce, hand-pressed organic apple cider, fresh apple pies, apple turnovers, our own local honey, condiments, and merchandise. You can either do U-Pick or purchase already-picked apples by the 1/2 peck or by the bushel.

AGRICULTURE PRACTICES
Implementing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles allow us to strengthen the Orchard's ecosystem. This approach will enable us to produce high-quality fruits and vegetables while minimizing our impact on the environment. Graves Family Orchard uses only Organic Practices with a BioDynamic Approach.
